Older people learning from this generation

What can older people learn from your generation? What lessons do you think your parents could learn from you? In general, what skills, attitudes and habits do you think people in your generation have that older people might benefit from? Why?

One thing that older people could learn from our generation is how to use the internet. If an older person needs to find something out or look something up they could just go to the internet and search for it. With the way the internet is, it is simple to keep up with current events. An older person who like to keep up with current events could search for a news website and read what they want to know about.

Our generation could teach how to use technology to the older generation, but our generation could use some teaching as well. We could learn not to be so down in technology so much and talk to people face to face. Also how the way society has grown over the years. Back then people cared about other people and look out for each other. Now if something happens all our generation does is just stand around and take video or pictures. The older generation might be able to learn from us, but we also need to learn from them.
