When is the last time you did something kind for a stranger? Doing nice
things for strangers isn’t something that just came about, but in recent
years, “paying it forward” has become a trend. What do you think
compels people to, say, pay for a coffee ordered by a person who will
never see them and thus be unable to thank them?
The last time that I last helped a stranger was by holding the door for them. That may not be a big leap to helping, but it is a polite and nice thing to do. People who help out others are compelled to do that probably to do it out of the kindness of their heart. Another could be that they just want to help.
With our generation slowly losing that way of kindness and helping strangers, people will do anything and not care. One example was that a fight broke out in a McDonald's where there was a group of teens beating up another teenager. All people did was just stand around watching, taking pictures and taking video. The only people who helped was that some of the employes call the cops. I feel like our society is slowly loosing this touch of helping others, when people should be helping others. People should be standing up for a person they don't know. Our society need to go back to where people would help each other and not just stand around.
